The amazing performance recalled the way Susan Boyle surprised Britain’s Got Talent  judges with her version of I Dreamed A Dream.

A six-year-old boy with 15 fingers and 16 toes has undergone surgery to remove his extra digits. The unnamed Chinese child had four fingers on one hand and three on the other fused together. He now has ten fingers and ten toes following a six-and-a-half hour operation at a hospital in Shenyang, Liaoning, to remove the surplus 11 digits.

A leading condom manufacturer in Switzerland has created extra-small condoms for boys as young as 12 years old. After government research showed that 12 to 14-year-olds did not use sufficient protection when having sex, the extra small condoms were produced. Called the Hotshot condom, they are 45mm in diameter compared to the standard 52mm diameter of a regular condom. The manufacturer said that the UK would be a top priority if they expanded abroad as it has the highest teen pregnancy rate in Europe. Hilary Pannack of Straight Talking Peer Education, a teen pregnancy charity, said that they know young people are having sex and this is one way to protect them.

People came in all shapes and sizes and one heavily pregnant woman even postponed the birth of her twins so she could take part.

Wide swaths of the south Pacific, Asia and Australia are braced for a tsunami after a devastating magnitude 8.8 earthquake hit the coast of Chile early for a minute and half at 3:34am (6:34am GMT) today (02/27/2010).

Officials in Japan and Australia warn a tsunami from the earthquake is likely to hit Asian shorelines within 24 hours. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Hawaii issued a tsunami caution for areas across the region.

The Center also said a tsunami advisory was in effect for the coast of California and coastal areas of Alaska from Kodiak to Attu. The Center said sea-level readings confirm that a tsunami has been generated which could cause widespread damage.
